Through Time

Floating community path view architecture

Through Time aims to establish a connection with a dynamic site, creating a floating community
of 1-3 unit houses sustained by recycled barrels and supported by 30 ft columns. These
columns symbolize the community’s future in the face of rising sea levels, displaying future
elevations. The thoughtfully arranged pathways enhance the sense of exploration, fostering
a village-like atmosphere. Public squares, strategically placed, serve as venues for programs
and community events, framing views of the island and mainland. The overall goal is to cultivate
a profound sense of place within one’s environment and time.
